I ate this for breakfast and it filled me up!

Some days I’m not hungry enough for breakfast, or I’ll drink more water or even coffee to replace breakfast. The other day I decided to make what I decided to call “apple cookies” because they kind of looked like cookies to me!

This was the final product and it was so easy to whip up! I added peanut butter for protein, granola, and blueberries. You can add other toppings as well! I loved eating these because it wasn’t a heavy breakfast, but it filled me up and kept me full. Apples are high in fiber and with the protein from peanut butter kept me full and energized. I would definitely make these again and they taste so good, if you’re a big apples and peanut butter fan, you’ll love these!

Here’s the ingredients I used!

  • 1 Apple (cored, cut into 4 pieces) any apple you like is good to use! I used gala apples for these
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter
  • 4 pinches of granola (I used the vanilla almond by the bear naked brand; any granola works!)
  • 4 blueberries to each apple

Other toppings you can use!

  • A drizzle of honey
  • Mini dark chocolate chips
  • Dried cranberries
  • Raisins
  • Halved grapes
  • Coconut flakes

You can enjoy these “apple cookies” as a snack or breakfast! Either way they’re so easy to make and fun to eat!
