A List of 25 Things to Incorporate Into your Daily Routine to Make Your Life Better

Today I took a pilates class to start my morning, and after that class I took a shower. During my shower, I got this blog post idea so I knew I had to post it so I wouldn’t lose this idea! The point is, we all have our good days and bad days, but it’s always the little things that make us happy that helps us see the good in everyday. Sometimes if you had a bad day, a small gesture of kindness and happiness can go a long way. Let me tell you I LOVED starting my day with pilates because I was able to start off with a good workout so I was energized throughout the day, it definitely made me feel happier! With that being said, here’s a list of 25 things that you can incorporate into any day to add some positivity into your day!

  1. Call a friend or family member
  2. Write a list of 5 things you love about yourself
  3. Write a list of things you’re thankful for
  4. Write in a prayer journal (or journal in general)
  5. Treat yourself and buy a sample size product you haven’t used from Ulta/Sephora
  6. Find a discounted fitness class and take it
  7. Try a new recipe with a friend
  8. Pay for someone’s drink in the drive thru (kindness goes a long way!)
  9. Watch a funny movie by yourself or with friends
  10. Go on a random drive with a friend
  11. Write a list of small goals that you have for the day and check them off when you finish them
  12. Try a new restaurant in town
  13. Walk around your favorite store
  14. Try a new face mask
  15. Drink more water and add fruit to your water! (yes, drinking water helps IMMENSELY)
  16. Tell someone why you’re thankful for them
  17. Do a partner workout
  18. Take a social media detox for a bit/turn off your phone for a certain amount of time
  19. Do yoga
  20. Write down a quote of the week to look back on for motivation
  21. Buy a stress-free coloring book
  22. Go to the animal shelter and play with dogs
  23. Drive around and sing your favorite songs (with friends of course!)
  24. Eat a balanced diet (sometimes you still have to treat yourself and just get the ice cream)
  25. Lastly, SMILE MORE. You can’t practice happiness if you’re not happy
